Violet Embroidery Kit

Every year I fret over the violets, worried all April long that they won't have made it... and of course, they arrive without fail the first week of May on our farm in all their purple glory. Violets are one of my favorite native flowers to see popping up after a period of invasive species removal, and often burst forth after I remove heaps and heaps of garlic mustard all April long! They also have a fascinating sapphic connection and are an important food for our early spring pollinators... and for the adventurous forager!
